integrative health research

The intern/trainee will have the opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of contemplative science and mind-body research in a cognitive-neuroscience context and in partnership with the well-being Industry. The Contemplative Neuroscience and Mind-Body Research lab (CNMB) is situated in the department of Psychology and utilizes VU and VUMC resources to focus on integrative health and wellness and uses a multi-pronged approach to investigate: 1. Basic science, 2. Clinical Science, 3. Intervention and Content Development, 4. Education, and 5. Innovation. The trainee will gain some exposure to ongoing research and will be encouraged to take advantage of the many conferences and educational opportunities available at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Vanderbilt University campus. The intern will also have an opportunity to engage with RoundGlass – a mental health and well-being Industry partner.
